The SDSU Chinyeh Hostler Social Venture: H2O Impact Challenge is a pitch competition held annually at SDSU. For the first time ever, multiple schools in the Southern California region competed for a total of $40k in cash prizes. Nine teams across five universities pitched their innovative solutions with lasting impacts on water in the Southern California region.
Chinyeh Hostler Grand Prize: $15,000 - Awarded to AgroSpike (SDSU)
Second Place: $7,500 - Awarded to Chloroboost (CSU San Marcos)
Third Place: $5,000 - Awarded to High Tide AI (Miramar College)
Greatest Social Impact: $3,000 - Awarded to High Tide AI (Miramar College)
Audience Vote: $2,500 - Awarded to AgroSpike (SDSU)
Best Presentation: $2,000 - Awarded to AgroSpike (SDSU)
Most Innovative Solution: $2,000 - Awarded to Chloroboost (CSU San Marcos)
