Ideation for prizes! No idea needed to participate!
Co-hosted by SDSU ZIP Launchpad, Women In Business and Entrepreneurship Society
- The Ideation Event is a virtual event open to all SDSU students, faculty, and staff
- We will randomly assign you to a team and give your team a COVID related problem facing college students. Your team will have 15 minutes to come up with an innovative solution. You will have 1 minute to pitch your idea.
- Gain resume building experience by working on a team to solve a problem under pressure and have fun!
Event Details
Agenda and Prizes
5:15 PM - 5:30 PM
- Teams will be randomly assigned to Zoom breakout rooms
- Brainstorm on 1 minute pitch inspired by the problem prompt
The pitch will consist of
- The problem you are solving inspired by the problem prompt
- The team's solution to the problem
- How the team's solution is uniquely different and innovative from other solutions currently available
5:30 PM - 5:45 PM
- Each speaker representing a room will be given 1 minute to pitch
5:45 PM - 5:55 PM
- Audience votes on the top two pitches
5:55 PM - 6:00 PM
- Event wrap-up
- Describe the Instagram best pitch competition between the top two pitches
- Winning team gets $25.00 amazon

The Ideadtion Event is the perfect opportunity for participants to practice their pitching skills in front of a panel of experienced judges and students. Participants receive valuable feedback on how they can improve their pitching techniques.
